The latest batch of MCU releases has been the weakest ever, with Thor: Love and Thunder widely considered among the worst Marvel movies of them all.
That's up against some pretty stiff competition. Sony's FF movies were panned. The Marvel homecoming must surely be a major improvement.
But it seems like the magic is over. The days when a new release led to huge price rises in books seem to have come and gone.
Is it fatigue? Could the world be tiring of superhero movies, and this is reflected in the back issue market? Or is the weakness in collectibles a wider problem caused by the economy?
I'd love to hear what you have to say about the future of the
MCU.
