Imagine your Uncle, Father, Grandfather, or hey, maybe one of their wives or widows, finally decided to "see what those old comic books might be worth", and contacted an auction company.
Huge, "pedigree" original-owner collections have been sold,
ostensibly at the best possible prices, by specialist auction houses.
Typical grades were 9.4 through 9.6 across hundreds or thousands of Silver Age keys and runs.
Great news for their formers owners! Right?
You think so?
Well let me ask you
this:
Do you think the auction companies mentioned COMIC BOOK PRESSING during the sales pitch? Hell NO!
Why?
Because the 'insiders' were buying up those 9.4s and 9.6s...
...cracking them out of their shiny new CGC
cases...
...pressing and re-submitting them...
...and making sh!tloads of money!
That's money that ought to have gone to the original owners, not the sharks circling the blood in the water.
This process is known as "Upgrading". It's just one of the
ways sellers of comic books are not getting a fair deal, by being kept ignorant.
This is blatant misleading by the very 'industry professionals' they ought to be able to trust with their treasures.
In part, it's because Comic Book Pressing has been kept secret. A short time ago, a Google search for the term would reveal almost NO
results.
Sean and I have been pressing books for years, and we are pretty good at it, and we're making plenty of money doing it.
SO SHOULD YOU :-)
We are tired of this double-dealing. Now it's time to lift the lever, and open the lid of those mysterious pressing
machines.
This course will begin to put right an injustice, an imbalance, in the industry, that has persisted too long.
As usual, you don't just get this amazing course. You're going to get tons of bonus material too!
