The internet is full of groups of comic book speculators. You can find them all over
Facebook.
People who buy up dozens of copies of modern books in the hope (sometimes an educated guess, more often completely without serious foundation) of making a
killing when a minor character gets picked up in a movie or TV show.
They are very vocal about their successes. They gloss over their many
failures.
What is wrong with this approach? Nothing, if you like gambling. I'd argue that you could have more fun at a
casino.
Instead, pick up some solid mid-grade Golden Age books. Batman #47 is the first detailed origin of arguably the world's coolest and most important

A recent sale of a CGC 5.0 was $1,995 -- that's for a key issue comic from 1948. There are only 161 unrestored copies in the CGC
census.
The world is full of under-valued books like this. Joker covers, Catwoman covers, origins of Green Arrow, Aquaman, Wonder
Woman...
Ignore the voices urging you to go Bitcoin on modern comics, and do your homework. Buy to hold. Flip off the flippers.
