This is ONE good reason to attend a comic con...
DON'T GO TO DO BUSINESS.
True story. My business partner Sean Goodrich visited the Montreal comic con with me a few years back (our LAST visit to a con!).
A dealer had a NM copy of New Mutants 98 on the wall. Sean asked to look at it.
The dealer fussed and tutted while he cut the tape. "Be careful with that," he snapped. Like it was an Action #1 or something.
Here we were looking at dropping $250 on a single book. He turned to a lady looking in the Dollar bin. "May I help you with something?" he asked sweetly.
Is there something wrong with this attitude? Be nice to bargain hunters but miserable with people who are actually going to buy a wall book?
On another booth, we found a high-grade Bronze age collection and dropped $2K on it.
Great deal, but we had to stand there for two hours cutting tape one by one, examining books under crappy light, dehydrated and hungover (this wasn't the fault of the con, I should add), basically wishing we were somewhere, ANYWHERE, else.
What are YOU hoping to achieve at the comic con? You're going to have to do REALLY well to get over the travel costs, ticket price, food costs...
Go for a good time, but keep your serious money and take your time to buy from a quality dealer.

It's likely that we have exactly what you're looking for on our eBay store. And if we don't have it now, then it's probably coming in to stock soon.
